A few things
about me.

It started with a course.

In 2019, I was in my second year at university when a cousin in China helped me get access to CS50 from Harvard through edX. He helped pay for the certificate too. Later, he helped me find a bootcamp, which I paid for myself.

Then he introduced me to a friend who needed a website. I built it and started managing their social media. Through that connection came the Living African Podcast. We started producing it, and I later started the You Can Be Anything podcast and brought a friend in to help.

That was how Ejom Studios began. We’re now a team of six. One connection led to another. We worked on more podcasts, and people started asking us to build WordPress websites for them.

Building, and figuring it out.

As the work grew, I left university in my second year. I later went back and took some third-year courses, but that period of study gave me a foundation I still draw on.

I’ve been building Ejom Studios from Ghana since then. We’ve worked with businesses in Ghana, the US and Canada, and we’ve done design and video work for a business in China too. We still make websites and work on podcasts, graphics and video. That hasn’t stopped.

These days, we’re also finding ways to use AI in that work: editing videos, making websites, building tools for ourselves, and seeing what actually helps.

And now, Ejom Labs.

Ejom Labs is a newer business I’m building alongside the studio. It’s about helping small businesses and startups figure out how AI can fit into what they do.

I’ve been talking to businesses about whether they’re using AI, how they’re using it, and where it could help them be more productive or get better results. I’m learning through those conversations too.

Ejom Studios still does creative and digital work. Ejom Labs gives me a place to focus more directly on helping businesses use AI. I’m still building websites. I’m just exploring different ways to build and work.

Outside the work, I like learning and writing about whatever is on my mind: life, love, habits, business, AI. This website is a place for all of that.
